Invitation to Quote for the Provision of Cleaning Services

Dear Sir/Madam,

INVITATION TO QUOTE FOR THE PROVISION OF CLEANING SERVICES AT THE CONSULATE-GENERAL OF THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE IN JOHOR BAHRU

You are invited to quote for the Provision of Cleaning Services at the Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore in Johor Bahru for a base period of two (2) years from 1 February 2023 to 31 January 2025, with an option to extend the contract for another year until 31 January 2026.

2 You shall be deemed to have read this letter and fully understood the contents of the following documents, which constitute integral components of the invitation and shall comply with all terms and conditions specified therein:

Annex A – Requirement Specifications

Annex B – Quotation Conditions of Contract

Annex C – Price Schedule Form

Please email singcon_jhb@mfa.sg for a set of the Annexures.

3 Your proposal should be submitted to the following email address, Johor_Bahru_Procurement@mfa.sg, and be addressed to Mr Tan Kee Chor, Consul (Admin & Consular). Any enquiries should be submitted to singcon_jhb@mfa.sg. Only one proposal, the last to be received by the Consulate-General before the stipulated deadline, will be accepted.

4 Please indicate the subject as “Invitation to Quote for the Provision of Cleaning Services”. All submissions should reach the Consulate-General not later than Monday, 31 October 2022, 4:30 PM.

5 Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria: (a) Compliance with Conditions of Contract and Requirement Specifications (25%); (b) Price (60%); and (c) Company Establishment and Track Record (15%). Proposals that do not comply with the terms and conditions set out in the Annexures may be rejected.

6 The Consulate-General does not bind itself to accept the lowest, the whole or any Quote.  All cost or expenses related to preparing the Quote will be borne by you.

7 All information supplied to you by the Consulate-General, either in writing or orally, must be treated in confidence and not disclosed to any third party.

8 The Consulate-General reserves the right to disqualify you if you do not submit your response in a manner consistent with the provisions set out in this letter and the requirements listed in the Annexures.

9 Your proposals should remain valid for acceptance for a minimum of 30 days from the closing date of this invitation. 

10 The awarder vendor will be notified via email and the award notice will be posted on the Consulate-General’s notice board at the Consular Services Lobby and the Consulate-General’s website at www.mfa.gov.sg/jb.
