RESPONSE TO COMMENTS IN MALAYSIAN MEDIA ARTICLES DATED 27-31 JULY 2015 ON CLOUD-SEEDING OPERATIONS

1              We refer to the comments by Johor State Exco member Datuk Ir. Haji Hasni bin Haji Mohammad that the Johor State government has submitted a formal letter to Malaysia’s Department of Civil Aviation on cloud-seeding operations. Singapore has not yet been approached on this matter, but we look forward to working closely with Malaysia on this. Singapore fully supports such efforts in Johor, especially during this dry spell.
